tobu means “to fly” in Japanese. Our story is simple. In the middle of a global pandemic, our CEO decided a quit a perfectly good job to pursue her love of coaching others achieve their goals. She stepped out on ledge and took flight. Her vision is simple: meet people where they are, accept them for who they are, and work with them to realize their best self.

About Tomako

I’m the daughter of a Japanese mother and an American father. My upbringing wasn’t typical and it wasn’t always easy, but it shaped who I am and what I believe in. The ethics of hard work, dedication, and stretching higher were ingrained in me from an early age. I know what it’s like to be in the C-suite and to own my own business. It can be difficult at times - and having a trusted advisor helps to make the path forward easier. As a coach, I’m dedicated to helping you explore options, evaluate solutions and achieve more.
